The Growsmart Educational Programme is an initiative by Growthpoint Properties in collaboration with the Western Cape Education Department, the Eastern Cape Department of Education and the Limpopo Department of Education.

The programme started in 2009 as a Literacy competition aimed at advancing the learning experiences and behaviour of children in grades 4, 5 and 6 in a fun and competitive format.

Over the years, the programme has expanded its offering beyond Literacy, with a wide range of curriculum-based subjects including Literacy, Story Writing (Creative Writing), Mathematics and Entrepreneurship.
